There are over 11,000 children in the foster care system in Oklahoma. 11,000 children who are unable to go home for one reason or another. 11,000 children who need others to step up and care for them. 11,000 children who do not have the security of a loving and safe home and family in which to grow and support them. 11,000 children who lack stability. This is just in one of our 50 states.
I encourage each of you to pray about what you could do to help foster children in your area. This could mean being a mentor, donating money, goods, or clothing, becoming a foster parent, or even adopting. There is something each of us could do to help these children.
